This is a masterpiece created by Japan’s painstaking and intricate craftsmanship, taking much longer than the production time required for a regular thin tapestry. These skinny tapestries are made of natural-woven Ramie linen hand dyed in various Kyoto theme designs. They have a wooden rod at both ends with a string at the top and are weighted at the bottom to allow them to hang straight.
