Geisha or Kabuki Shiro-Nuri Lining Color Choose: Black or Red

These are the fine black or red lining colors as used by Kyoto’s famous Geiko and Kabuki Actors. They are used over the Shiro-Nuri white face makeup to produce the eyes, eyebrows and lips as you see in the photo. An ordinary Q-tip can used to apply them. The black is Mitsuyoshi Black # 1 and the red is #4C. These are the most widely used for Geisha or Kabuki makeup.
