This vintage fan came from Kyoto’s renown fan makers. It is made of sturdy washi paper with glossy black lacquered bamboo struts. It is a on one side and silver on the other and is hand-painted in a dramatic bamboo design. Note that it is difficult to capture the richness of gold and silver under photo lights and it is even more beautiful in real life!

Size:

It measures about 20” or 51cm from tip to tip when open and is a little over 11” or 29cm long when closed. Weight: 124g
