Description:
A charming unused vintage KENZO Paris pouch handbag, dating from around 1992. The original Japanese newspaper used to stuff the bag is dated 1992, providing a useful indication of its period.
The pouch has a wonderfully characteristic KENZO floral print — bright pink, yellow and white flowers with green foliage against a vivid red ground.
The body is made from textured faux leather, finished with contrasting genuine leather handles, piping details and distinctive triangular KENZO PARIS zipper tabs. A stitched KENZO label decorates the front.
Inside is a rich green faux-leather lining with one internal pocket. There is also a discreet external tissue/access slit pocket, a very Japanese feature typical of small handbags and pouches of the period.
Although more than 30 years old, this example appears unused and has been preserved in lovely condition.
