Vintage Givenchy Paris/New York Necklace & Earring Set (1982)

This elegant vintage Givenchy jewelry set dates from 1982 and represents the exceptional quality of designer costume jewelry produced during the golden age of luxury fashion accessories. Purchased from an upscale department store in Tokyo during Japan’s economic bubble era, the set has been carefully preserved and remains in flawless condition.

The design features a striking geometric motif: a sparkling square of clear rhinestones set within a larger square finished in creamy yellow lacquer and framed in rich gold plating. The clean lines and bold proportions perfectly capture the sophisticated glamour of early 1980s Givenchy design.

The pendant is suspended from a beautifully crafted triple-strand gold-plated chain and retains its original Givenchy clasp. The reverse is clearly marked “Givenchy Paris/New York 1982”. The matching clip earrings remain attached to their original Givenchy presentation card and are similarly hallmarked on the reverse.

Unlike many later examples of fashion jewelry, these early Givenchy pieces were produced to a very high standard. The gold plating remains bright and intact, the lacquer surfaces are pristine, and all rhinestones are present and sparkling. There are no scratches, wear marks, or signs of deterioration.
