Mayubake Professional Shiro-Nuri Stage Makeup Eyebrow Brush

For use with Pro Stage Red or Black Lining Color

This fine quality Mayubake Eyebrow Brush is made in the traditional way with natural short, stiff bristles tied firmly into a split bamboo stem. 

It is excellent for applying eyebrow details as the short bristles allow you to ‘scrub’ the color into the hair of the eyebrows after they have been flattened with Taihaku or Ishineri wax. Red & black Stage Lining Color is used to produce an authentic Geiko’s eyebrows. 

It comes from a supplier located in the heart of the Gion Kobu District that has a long history of supplying Kanzashi and makeup items to the Maiko and Geiko of Gion. This is the very item they use.
