This lovely Japanese storage box is made of deep red, heavy-gauge plastic. The lid is lacquered in a gorgeous gold-leaf, floral motif. The bottom section is scarlet red with a gold edge. It could be used to store items on your makeup vanity or for sweets on a coffee table.
