These monpe are a Japanese folk garment in a traditional cotton kasuri weave called “Shijira-Ori”. Monpe are a loose-fitting type of trouser worn for generations in Japan for housework, farming or gardening. The patterns are woven into the fabric – not printed. There is a single patch pocket on the right front and both the waist and cuffs are elasticized for comfort.

Avoid washing your monpe with white clothing at the start just to make sure as some transfer may occur. In addition, please avoid putting them in a dryer.
