A little Swinging London, with a distinctly Japanese touch.

This striking black and white houndstooth coat by Mary Quant London Japan captures the bold, youthful spirit of 1960s British fashion. Made in Japan around the year 2000 under official license from Mary Quant London, it combines classic retro styling with the excellent materials and workmanship associated with Japanese fashion.

The coat features an eye-catching, all-over houndstooth pattern woven from a medium-weight blend of 87% wool and 13% nylon. Its tailored silhouette, generous notched collar, and large Mary Quant logo buttons give it a wonderfully authentic 1960s look.

Two front flap pockets add a practical touch, while the black satin-like lining features a subtle Mary Quant daisy motif. The interior bears the MARY QUANT LONDON label, complete with a small Union Jack.
