Vintage “Utsukushiki Nihon” Zabuton Cover Set by Osaka Nishikawa Co.

This is a beautiful vintage Japanese zabuton cushion cover set consisting of 5 matching covers in the original storage box. The covers have never been used and remain in perfect condition.

Made by Osaka Nishikawa Co., a respected Japanese manufacturer well known for the quality and elegance of their zabuton cover designs, this series is called “Utsukushiki Nihon” (“Beautiful Japan”).

Each cover is made of 100% cotton in a warm light brown colour with an elegant floral design printed on both sides. They are standard zabuton size and ideal for use in a traditional Japanese room, tea room, meditation space, or as decorative floor cushions.

It is also very easy to make your own zabuton cushions to fill these covers using padding materials available from most sewing, fabric, or craft shops.
