This lovely Autumn Noren is called: Akizakura or more commonly, Cosmos flowers.
New for Fall 2025. this hand-dyed linen noren will add a touch of elegance to any space and create a modern Japanese interior. Hand-painted cosmos flowers on natural, hand-woven linen background create the atmosphere of an autumn field in the entrance hall. The natural beauty of the white to pink gradation, as if swaying in the breeze, will warmly welcome all visitors.
It is sewn over at the top to accommodate a wooden or bamboo stick (not included). It can then be hung on the wall or more typically, in the doorway. It is divided into two panels so that people may pass through.
It is made of hand-woven Ramie linen by Rakushian of Kyoto. Rakushian is famous for their Ramie linen noren curtains and kakijiku tapestries which are quality works of art produced in small quantities and normally sold exclusively in fine stores in Japan.
