Based on Sotatsu Tawaraya’s masterpiece, “Wind God and Thunder God”, it has been reproduced in a sumi-e style using stencil dyeing.
The monochrome color and elegantly shining gold color create a chic modern atmosphere that can be used in both Japanese and Western styles.
It includes the sticks at the top and bottom and a string to hang it.
It is made of hand-woven Ramie linen by Rakushian of Kyoto, famous for their Ramie linen noren curtains and tapestries which are quality works of art produced in small quantities and normally sold exclusively in fine stores in Japan.
