Tatoushi are used in Japan to safely store valuable silk kimono to keep them flat and un-wrinkled and to protect them from bugs, humidity, etc. This is a pack of 3 full sized Tatoushi and they can be used to store most types of kimono and Haori or Obi. They are made of a heavy grade of textured ‘Washi’ rice paper with a lovely gold and silver Chrysanthemum design. Thesea are the lined type. They tie at the side and include a window to easily identify which kimono is inside. Essential if you have valuable Kimono! Best used with Bochu-Koh Incense.
