Roketsu Wax-Resist Tie-Dye Furoshiki: Awase-Zuru

This dramatic vintage furoshiki is roketsu (wax-resist) dyed in with a Mingie folk art Kamon of two Japanese cranes “Awase-Zuru” in dark orange on an indigo (almost black) background. Heavy weight 100% cotton. It is probably at least 50 years old though it seems to be in unused condition in its original box. See photos for details. Absolutely stunning design!
