VTG 1987 Japanese Folding Clutch Bag Rough Silk Tsumugi Weave

This unique bag seems to be unused and in its original packaging from 1987 (According to the newspaper stuffing inside). It folds in half to become a clutch. It is rough-woven silk “Tsumugi” pattern. It has metal trim closure and is fully lined.

It is in perfect, probably never used condition – see photos.
