A hand-dyed linen tapestry that creates a modern Japanese interior with an appealing Raku style.
Karesansui (a typical Japanese garden style that uses stones, sand, plants, and landforms to express the flow of water in places where there is no water) was carefully drawn with batik.
We use the very precious cloth called “Bashofu”.
It includes the sticks at the top and bottom and a string to hang it.
It is made of hand-woven Ramie linen by Rakushian of Kyoto, famous for their Ramie linen noren curtains and tapestries which are quality works of art produced in small quantities and normally sold exclusively in fine stores in Japan.
