This is an authentic antique Jizai-Kagi from an old house in kyoto. It is at least 100 years old and has a lovely patina of age from use over many years. The fish has a few chips and cracks and the bamboo pole is split, which is almost always the case as they are used over a fire. Some of the wara twine has been replaced and some is original. The last few photos show how it can be used as an interior item in a room.
